After our little media hubbub with Apple over iTunes LPs and the (apparently) bum scoop that we received about not being able to offer iTunes LPs as an indie, Apple came out and said that it was false and LPs would be open to everyone soon. Great news! That day finally came about a week ago and Apple started giving out instructions and code samples. That first day we had a working prototype iTunes LP and soon many of our new releases will be offered in the multimedia format. Though for the foreseeable future, iTunes has to approve them, so let’s hope they don’t hold a grudge.

The first iTunes LP will be for The Houston Brothers’ album, The Archer which releases on Jan 26.
